This is a blowback pistol with realistic weight and recoil. It is easy to operate and the ergonomic grip with checkered rubber grip panels make it sit extremely well in the hand. It features a fiber optic front sight and an accessory rail.

In the field of competitive target shooting, the CZ SP-01 Shadow is a landmark feat of firearm craftsmanship. Its design is based on the classic Model 75 which even in 1975 was a highly regarded, highly demanded pistol worldwide for its ergonomic, elegant design, smooth function and high magazine capacity.
The design of the CZ M75 was inspired by the Browning high power pistol but improved heavily on it. Originally the M75 was intended for use by Czech police, it was lighter and smaller than a standard M1911, with a slide that fit into the frame for a sturdier build and smoother cocking of the pistol.
With the SP-01, CZ reimagined the M75 as a top tier competition pistol. The SP-01 Shadow is one of the most highly recognised competition pistols that also started the CZ Shadow line.
